rooted. not obsessed
I feel consumed. I can't lie.
I guess that's what working in the fitness industry can feel like sometimes.
Constant Reps, Sets PB”s people smashing goals, wanting more, pushing harder, burn, sweat, grind…. But surely there’s more to it.. a more sustainable approach that doesn't lead to burnout.
I wish more people understood that every session doesn't need to burn to be productive.
I can say that because I used to think the same way.
With skinny back on trend now thanks monjuro (thats what i think but i wont get into that today)
It’s less about pushing for that certain look we all crave, which is actually neatly wrapped up in this appealing never ending search for…. Acceptance.
We all just want to feel accepted
But what if i told you you already were
Not by your performance, your PB’s, your skillset and talents but by someone who can’t help but love you that he died on the cross… JUST FOR YOU.
Yes I said it - believe it or not that's what Jesus did for you.
And no PB is better than that
The PB in my eyes comes from being rooted - when your value isn’t tied to something that waivers it makes the Grind for it different, it's not about striving to be accepted, it's about working hard for something that means something to you.
Same goal, different perspective.
Not obsessed - rooted and passionate and there the kind of PB’s im currently chasing.
