Life lately.. Slow Girl Era Episode One.

🫠 well currently rehabbing, my mind is filled with 1,000 thoughts and it’s only 6.30am, funny enough when I wake up these days I actually hear the birds… like what, all be it quietly amongst my brain noise… it’s there.

Well that’s new.

Still a bit suspicious of these slow mornings. 

My brains like - spend time with Jesus or start a new project ( I’ve started like 3!) & spent time with Jesus.

Embrace the yoga, rehab and stretching or throw a hissy fit because I’d rather be throwing weights around, jumping & running.

An exhale as the brain starts to slow down long enough to catch this raging anxiety… which apparently now I’m in my 40’s 🫠 ADHD presents itself differently,

No longer high & energetic.. although I still am… (maybe my birth certificate is wrong)

Anyway…

The energy just circulates around your body..

So I’m navigating through all the above as well as..

Motherhood - 4 kids 21-12 and no it is not easier as they get older!

Can I just say.. when people aren’t sure what to say.. they just say nonsense!

Running 2 businesses

Managing a home 

Winning the Aunty of the year award - to the cutest twin boys 

Holding it down as Sister of the century 

And rooting myself in Jesus so I don’t crumble.

Jesus 1st to be fair as putting him first actually.. somehow… in a way I don’t fully understand, makes everything else “easier”.

& breathe again…  

If you’re in an unexpected season of slowing down, grief, or however it may look for you just know, it won’t always be like this.

God is always on your side, even when you’re mad at him or can’t hear him or if you’ve never spoken to him, he’s there & he ain’t going anywhere, he really is the coolest.
